Gringo, Dingo, Bingo, Ringo and Ca’Chingo

Okay, do you like the title of my article? I thought you could, I had fun thinking about it the other day while driving, but I want to tell the story behind it. You see, our local Indian reservation, and let me tell you, these people live much better than most middle-class Americans who have a huge casino along the highway; I-10 in California. It’s a huge draw to the area and everyone is very happy, especially the rich American Indians here.

Now they have slot machines, limited games of chance, and bingo too. They bus people from all over for the big shows, good food and just for fun, it’s all good right? Now the other day, I was listening to the radio while touring the city and one of the nearby Indian casinos was announcing the opening of a new restaurant in their casino called Ca’Chin-go! That’s very creative indeed, and would lend itself well to branding and advertising campaigns.

Think about it? What’s in a name? Well, everything if you do it right, and it doesn’t matter what kind of business you are in, it should be fun, descriptive and energizing, just like Ca’Chin-go, so “Don’t be a Dingo, Come to Ca’Chin! -go! “or” You don’t have to sing like Ringo to have fun with a Ca’Chingo! ” Think of all the possibilities of jingles and advertising.

Let this be a lesson for all entrepreneurs: think about what you are doing and plan a good brand name, one that you can live with, one that gets headlines, and one that attracts people. Consider all of this.
