Letter to the Belmont

Held each year at Belmont Park in New York, the Belmont Stakes has always been known as The Champion’s Test as it is the last of the Triple Crown races and also the longest at a mile and a half long. It is open to three-year-olds, fillies and foals alike who want to risk completing the Triple Crown (if they have been lucky enough to win the previous two races) or surprise the favorite and favorite.

In some years, the Belmont Stakes may mean a new champion is crowned, but since there have only been twelve horses in history to take the Triple Crown, the Belmont is usually a great race between incredible horses competing in the Race for Carnation.

It’s the oldest race in the Triple Crown, with the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes being the other two, and if you don’t live in New York but want to attend, how about chartering a jet to do just that?

Charter a plane gives you plenty of room for your legs, shoulders, head, and elbows and allows you to get where you want to go on your schedule, not on the major commercial airlines. There is also a reduced security wait time, and you know that your luggage will be with you at all times, not in the opposite direction.

One of the best things about a charter plane is that they can land at smaller airports while avoiding the crowds in major hubs across the country. This means you spend less time navigating the crowds and more time enjoying your ride.

So who will be the next big star to emerge from the Belmont? The great Secretariat still has the best time in 1973. That year he also won the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes in record time, something we haven’t seen since. Secretariat also holds the record in the margin of the victory category, as it won by thirty-one lengths over the rest of the field.

Who will win the next carnation blanket? And have you come to see it in style and comfort or have you fought the crowds and commercial airlines and arrived exhausted and tired? Charter is less expensive than you think and think of all the hassle it saves you.
