Too familiar: domestic violence is a demonic act, isn’t it?

We make bonds throughout our lives as we are meant to make them. Whether it’s the self-doubt of ruining a good relationship or the stress of breaking up a weak relationship, they both make us miserable. Within a happy family, there can be many problems and one also makes mistakes. They arise because of our attitudes. The attitudes can be both conflict of interest and aggressive behavior and probably many others as well. As for the aggressive attitude, it consequently gives rise to domestic violence. There may be a couple of reasons for this and the culprit may be one of the two, husband and wife.

Violence often arises when we fight over unimportant things that are not worth taking seriously. Aggressiveness is considered to be the attitude of a man and not of a woman. Although it may be part of the nature of both. Usually, the man, just because of his aggressive attitude, tends to turn matters into normal matters that should not be disturbed. In societies where chauvinism is quite prominent, a woman’s character is meek and mild there. In this environment of male domination, the woman is especially objectified in the role of wife. There seems to be a vastly increasing percentage of domestic violence there.

Apart from aggressiveness, conflict of interest is another important factor to disturb and ruin the atmosphere of a home. If your family pursues all other interests or the job you are involved in, then family ties are sure to weaken. In some other cases, there may be problems from having other relationships, such as extramarital affairs. In these cases, you cannot honestly act well as a husband or wife. Your attention is divided and finally, the family demands to disturb you.

Whatever the reason, it eventually spoils the atmosphere of the home. Sincerity, loyalty, and patience are essential to creating a peaceful environment. Minor stresses, hectic routines, unintentional mistakes, and many other things can fan the flames of violence, but your own emotional control can settle your life. Negotiation is the best way to resolve problems and clear up misunderstandings. Instead of reacting off the cuff and without thinking, the husband and wife should talk to each other. Every problem has a solution, especially when it comes to domestic issues. We can make all the difference in our lives just by securing our precious relationships.
