There are rides in the park to suit anyone’s excitement levels. If you’re a speed demon and you love really creepy wrinkles, there are several for you to choose from. The Aeolos Whirlpool starts in the dark and then spins you around until you’re dizzy. If that wasn’t enough, you’re dropped straight through a hole at the end to plunge into the pool below. Some other thrill rides include Mount Olympus and Zeus Zenith, known as the Kamikaze slides. They tower over the water park and allow you to experience the thrill of a plummet.
That’s not to say that water park attractions aren’t suitable for more laid-back fun or for kids. Apollo’s Plunge might look dangerous, but it’s just a fun raft ride with a few twists and turns. There are plenty of places to eat or have ice cream, or you can find a sun lounger to lay down and relax. You can also rent a locker to store your clothes during your stay. During the summer season, the price is about 30 euros per adult, and about half for children under 12 years. However, parking is free.
If you’re thinking of having fun in the water on your own, keep in mind that some of the attractions can’t be done alone (such as the Fall of Icarus or the Fall to Atlantis). You need at least 2 people for these rides, so you may need to skip them or connect with other single tourists. Still, this water park in Cyprus is the perfect vacation getaway for the whole family.
