Increase Your Blog in the SERP’s

5 Steps to Fast Rankings and Free Traffic on Search Engines.

Hello new blogger and thanks for reading my article on how to rank your new blog faster and better… FAST.

The first thing you should know, before reading this article, is this:

Blogs have the ability to rank faster than static websites, and if you choose keywords that don’t have too much competition, CAN CLASSIFY YOUR BLOG.And, unless you plan on spending tons of money trying to crack AdWords or other ad/ppc campaigns, this is your best strategy for driving targeted traffic to your blog.

Step 1. – Content and A LOT

When you create a blog, it is very important that you provide your own unique content. But not just for 1 or 2 pages, to have ANY success with Google or Yahoo or any other search engine you need to create at least 10 pages.

Add some useful pages too. these pages should do nothing more than offer help and advice to their readers. Your traffic should feel like they are ASSISTED in their search for products and product information. Creating these pages shouldn’t be difficult; in reality, you are pretty much just writing articles that you will post on your blog. Notice how many blogs have a list in the sidebar, called ‘Articles’ instead of ‘pages’ or ‘posts’?

Step 2. – Create articles for EVERY page

Don’t just write an article for your home page or main keyword. Write at least one article for each page, with 1 link to the page and a link at the bottom that directs readers to your front page or home page.

Remember, this is just the starting strategy: once you complete all these steps, go back and create more pages and write more and more articles for all your pages. Usually when I get into the swing of things I have at least 7-10 articles FOR EVERY page!

Step 3. – Make Web Sites 2.0

In case you’re not sure what Web 2.0 sites are, they are interactive sites, like a blog. I recommend using Hubpages, Squidoo, Wetpaint, free blogs, like WordPress.Com and Blogger too.

The best way to use this strategy is to create each property just as you would create your pages on your blog. Add helpful tips and some images, with keywords placed evenly throughout. But not TOO MANY – try around 2-4 per 100 words.

At first, just make 1 web 2.0 property out of about 5-10 web 2.0 sites, and make ALL of them based AND named after your MAIN KEYWORD, linking to your blog home page and other page on your blog.

Step 4. MORE articles

NOW – write articles and link them to web 2.0 sites. I usually start by writing 1 article for each web 2.0 property, with a link to the web 2.0 property and also a link to the original blog. Sometimes it’s okay to link to 2 different Web 2.0 properties of the same article.

What this does is increase the value of your 2.0 properties, and this will make THERE LINKS worth more when you link to your blog from them. It will also give them a better chance of being ranked themselves.

Step 5. Check and ping EVERYTHING

Social bookmarking is simply a way to “share” publicly. Social bookmarking sites, such as dig, deliciousY stumble upon they were originally created as a way for people to share great stories and videos with each other. But for bloggers and internet marketers, this can be a great way to build a lot of links to our blogs.

But they do more than give us links, I use ‘jamespot’ frequently, and I have seen many of my ‘places’ rank on the first page of Google and other search engines, and it only took me 2 minutes to bookmark my blogs.

But don’t just bookmark your blog, bookmark EVERYTHING: I’m talking about articles, web 2.0 sites, every page of your blog, and anything else you think has its own unique URL.

This 1 step is HUGE – from my experience I know that when bookmark ALL OUR SITES AND ARTICLES, we create a huge network of links and increase link weight and traffic almost effortlessly. What you want to do is sign up for as many of these social bookmarking sites as you can.

put the ‘ADD THIS” bookmark bar in your toolbar and just click on all the little bookmark icons after every article and website 2.0.

In conclusion…..

These steps are a guide. Get started with this exact process and you will see results, results in several different areas of marketing your blog. Once you complete these steps, GO ON. Keep creating new content for your blog, write more articles, start building Web 2.0 sites that use your other good keywords.

This is what it takes to build your blog’s presence on the web, and depending on your main keywords, you’ll see that it’s not impossible to rank for your blog on Google.
