What to do if she wants to leave me: follow these important tips before you end up in a lot of pain

A wife’s or girlfriend’s decision to leave almost never “comes out of the blue.” It probably took a long time, probably months or years of contemplation, before this idea became a reality, and certainly not without her internally fighting it.

It can be devastating for both parties, especially when children are involved, but many relationships can still be saved. However, it would take a lot of effort to convince her to stay.

Look at things from their point of view.

A husband’s first step in saving the relationship is to try to understand how his wife feels and thinks. It is not just finding out what has been done that led to this situation, but also finding out what has not been done, what has been left out, what has been taken for granted.

Get your act together.

In this type of difficulty, it’s often easier to stay outside, be with friends, go for a drink, or immerse yourself in work. But running away won’t help fix the relationship. Instead, a man needs to be a man in this situation. His mere presence could make all the difference.

Be attractive to her once again.

How did things go downhill when everything seemed so perfect before? What made it so perfect before in the first place? Maybe it’s time for the husband to try to go back to being the man she married or the boyfriend she used to see. He doesn’t need to act to impress, it could be as subtle as helping clear the table or opening doors for you one more time.

Avoid immaturity.

Begging and pleading won’t exactly impress her or convince her to stay. If anything, it would only take her away from her. Instead, the husband must show good sense and maturity.

Give him some space.

At this point, your mind and heart are confused. Give him a breather to calm down and consider his own decision. And let her see the reasons why she should change her mind… because her husband loves her and cares about her.

Give him more love.

A woman is like a rose. She will wither if she doesn’t get showered with affection. To prevent a breakup from happening, make sure you give her adequate time and let her hear and feel that she truly loves her, and no one else.

Tell him you don’t want him to leave.

Simply put, you can actually prevent it from leaving. Let her know that you would be willing to sit down and discuss your concerns with her. Let her know that she will give you more respect and time if these are the things she requires you to give her.
