Today we want to share the results of our most recent survey. The objective was to determine what kind of men drive a Mercedes Benz. We randomly selected and questioned 200 male Mercedes owners across the country, of whom 112 responded to our questionnaire. Note that we knew nothing about the age, place of residence, social status, year, or exact model of Mercedes Benz that the participants drive. The only selection criteria were owning a Mercedes Benz and being single. One of the survey questions was to confirm that the guy currently owns a Mercedes. Below are the questions we have asked and the answers we have received.
1. Would you rather go on a date and spend $300.00 on a fancy dinner or buy $1000.00 new tires for your Mercedes? a) Go to an appointment and spend $300.00 54% b) Buy new tires for $1,000.00 46%
2. What do you do if your first date spills coffee inside your Mercedes? a) Tell him not to worry about it and clean up the spill. 36% b) Kindly ask him to be more careful next time and clean up the spill. 27% c) Get a little angry and tell him to clean up the spill. 19% d) Get very angry and ask him to get out of the car. 18%
3. Two important events happened yesterday: you had a first date and she was hot and she also bought a new Mercedes Benz CLK. What is the first thing you think of when you wake up in the morning? a) New Mercedes Benz 78% b) Hot date 22%
4. You park your shiny silver Mercedes Benz CLK 55AMG and step onto a curb with your cute date. A guy passing by makes a comment, “she’s hot.” What is your job? a) You smile, say “Thank you” and hit the roof of your Mercedes. 64% b) You smile, say “Thank you” and hug your date. 36%
5. You spend the night with your girlfriend at her house with your Mercedes Benz parked in her driveway. In the morning, he sees a large scratch on the side of her car. What is your reaction? a) Pretend you didn’t notice anything and don’t say anything. 31% b) You ask your girlfriend if she has any idea who she could have done something so horrendous. 37% c) She panics, she runs and asks him to call 911. 15% d) You notice the scratch, don’t say anything, jump in the car and drive away. You never return his calls after that. 17%
As you can see from the survey results, there were some interesting and intriguing responses. In those awkward situations with coffee spills or scratches, most guys would still think of their dates first. But the answers to the questions about thinking about the new Mercedes vs hot date or the “she she’s hot” comment were somewhat unexpected. It’s obvious that the guys themselves are more impressed by their hot Mercedes rides than the girls. But at least the girls win when it comes to spending $300.00 on dinner versus $1,000.00 on the rims. In summary, we can say that, in general, male Mercedes owners are gentlemen who think of their Mercedes Benz whenever they hear the word “hot”.
